The Dutch government has received official information postponement of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's visit to the Netherlands. However, the Dutch government hopes the visit will be immediately implemented.
A spokesman for the Dutch foreign minister, Bart Rijs, as quoted by the BBC website Indonesia, stated that the Dutch government hopes the Hague court to decide the lawsuit soon the Republic of South Maluku (RMS) which demanded that President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was arrested during a visit in the Netherlands.
The case is on trial in The Hague today on a lawsuit filed by President John Wattilete RMS. Rijs said the lawsuit is a case not yet clear who should be immediately disconnected.
Rijs added, Dutch Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen has summoned the Indonesian ambassador to the Netherlands JE Habibie to assert that President SBY have full legal immunity in the Netherlands.
President SBY originally scheduled state visit at the invitation of Queen Beatrix and Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende between 5 and 10 October 2010. However, the President abruptly canceled his departure when it was at Halim Perdanakusumah air base, Jakarta
